BACON, SCALLION AND CARAMELIZED ONION DIP

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup caramelized onions, cooled
  • 6 slices bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces, cooked crisp
  • 3 scallions, green and white parts, minced
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Stir all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill for 20 minutes before serving.
